How does the $45/$50 early sign up work?
The UPS Store does not charge any registration fees. We will use the $45/$50 pre-payment towards your storage purchase at The UPS Store. $45/$50 pays for storage of our smallest size 18x18x18 box. If you would prefer to store a larger box, the $45/$50 will be deducted from the price of the storage.
What date can I start using the storage program?
The UPS Store starts accepting storage items in the middle of April, but you can sign up now.
Can I receive a refund if I change my mind?
There are no refunds of the early sign up pre-payment. All sales are final and non-transferable.
What if I require some assistance getting my items to The UPS Store?
The UPS Store is happy to provide additional assistance for a nominal fee. Please contact The UPS Store directly for this service.
Is there anything you do not store?
The UPS Store does not store perishable items, animals (ex: fish), or cars.
What if I am not coming back to school and will be unable to pick up my stored items?
The UPS Store will work with you to pack and ship items back home or extend your storage contract to better suit your needs.
Can I take my items out before my storage contract ends?
Yes, you can take your storage items out before your contract ends. The UPS Store requires 48 hours notice for this service and an early access fee may apply. No refunds will be issued for early termination.
How does insurance work?
Insurance is available for an additional fee of $2.00 per $100 of value stored. The insurance liabilities are explained in your storage contract (see store for more details). For example, I want to store my TV and add a declared value of $500. The fee for that would be $10.00.
Where do you store the items?
The UPS Store uses a secure, climate-controlled, off-site warehouse. The UPS Store is fully insured for all item handling.
How long is the storage contract?
The storage contracts extends from the end of the Spring semester through the start of the Fall semester (End of August/first day of classes). If you require storage through the fall semester and beyond, we will be able to work with you to meet your needs.
Do I have to live on campus to use your services?
Off-campus students can certainly take advantage of this service. We can work directly with you on the pick-up and delivery of items, when available.
Is there a limit to how many items I can store?
There is NO LIMIT to the amount of items you can store.
Can you bring my items to my new off campus home after the summer?
Yes, we can do off campus deliveries for a fee.**Fees range from $50-$100 for off campus deliveries and are dependent on how many items being delivered.
